An app blocker — but for your spending and savings.

Set the limits, lock the savings — Rulio blocks the purchase when you hit a cap. No willpower required.

Spending caps

Stop the categories that get out of hand.

Set a monthly cap on the categories that get out of hand — DoorDash, online shopping, late-night food. When you hit the limit, the purchase gets blocked.

You set the rule when thinking clearly. You can't quietly raise it in the moment.

Locked savings

Lock money away from your future self.

Set a goal — house, emergency fund, big trip. Pick an unlock date. The money goes in and stays in until you reach the goal or the date arrives.

Not just a setting. A real lock.

How it works

How it works.

1

Tell us where you fail

The categories that spiral, the savings you keep raiding.

2

Set your rules

Spending caps, unlock dates, savings targets.

3

Move money into savings

You set money aside — and it stays locked under the rules you set.

4

Then let it run

Nothing for you to decide on hard days.

The purchase gets blocked, the savings stay locked, the rules hold themselves.

Built-in flexibility

Flexible when it matters. Firm when it counts.

You decide how strict, and for how long. Once you set a rule, it holds until you say otherwise. The only thing that overrides it is a real emergency.

You choose where you sit, and you can move stricter instantly.

From a short cooling-off to a multi-year lock, your rules, your call. Make them stricter anytime, instantly. Loosening waits out a cooling-off window so an impulse can't undo your protection. Emergencies are the one exception.

Adjust your rules anytime

Change a cap or shift a goal whenever you want. Tighter takes effect right away; looser waits out a short cooling-off window, so an impulse can't undo your protection.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Can I override my own rules?
You can request it — but there's a cooling-off period before it takes effect. That's the point. The rule you set in calm gets a chance to outlast the impulse to break it.
What if I genuinely need the money in an emergency?
It depends on how strict you set it. Loosening any rule — including to free up money you need — waits out a cooling-off window first, and the stricter your level, the longer it waits. Either way you're not trapped: the window is short enough that real emergencies get through, but long enough that an impulse can't pose as one.
Can I change the rules after I set them?
Yes. Tightening a rule takes effect immediately. Loosening one waits out a cooling-off window first — and the stricter the level you set, the longer that wait — so an impulse can't quietly undo the protection you set up.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Close it and your money returns to you. No penalty. No lock-in on the relationship with us — only on the rules you chose to lock.

Just you. Just rules. Just yours.

Be first in line when it opens. Rules that will actually hold.
